The First Ice Bar Opens in New York




NEW YORK - Residents of these cities now have one location to cool off during the summer whwn an ice bar that first opened in the Hilton Hotel in Six Avenue, Manhattan.

    When summer arrives, here visitors can cool the body by bringing family members together. Rested the body with the greatest coolness of this invention can eliminate fatigue and can have fun with friends and family.

    The Ice Bar named by Minus5 because the entire bar is made of ice. Visitors will be given a thick glove and should wear sweaters because of the circumstances surrounding the very cold with temperatures 5 degrees Celsius.




    Interior design as a theme park made many lovers come to enjoy the coolness and beauty landscape there. Visitors will be charged an entrance fee of U.S.$ 20 ( RM60 ) for cocktails and thick gloves while he was in it.

    All equipment in the bar as walls, chairs, glasses, tables, lamps are made from ice. The bar has a double personality. From 2 p.m, when it opens daily, to 7 p.m, children and families are welcome. After that, the establishment caters to a New York nightclub crowd.

    There penguin mascot show the background of the cold place. Mascot is meant to entertain visitors with family. About 350 blocks of it, each weighing up to 100 pounds, was used to create the cool surroundings that are meant to feel good on a Manhattan afternoon when temperatures soared into the 90s.
