The World's Longest Cable Bridge Began Operating




  • Jiaxing-Shaoxing Sea Bridge in China is 6.2miles long

    SHAOXING -  The longest cable bridge in the world and the most wide-open for public use last month.

        The bridge is located in Zhejiang province in northeast China. The cloud infrastructure took seven years to build. Named Jiaxing Sea Bridge - Shaoxing, the building extends over 10 kilometers with 780 meter wide main parts.

        Infrastructure has six lanes opened to vehicles on May 28 and will be fully operational by next Monday.

        The bridge is also equipped with walkways and bike. It begins and ends in Haicang district Houzhai, in the city of Zhangzhou.
